On the 7th of June the APPG on NRPF held an important evidence session addressing the impact of NRPF on victims/survivors of domestic abuse.

The event was held as a hybrid event and was well attended both online and in person in Westminster. We want to thank all the Members of Parliament, professionals and people with lived experience who spoke so eloquently at the event.

We would also like to invite interested parties to view this excellent short documentary produced by the University of East Anglia (UEA) and Pelikan Pictures – Left Behind – which tells migrant victims’ and survivors’ stories in their own words and demonstrates how thousands of victims of domestic abuse are “falling through the cracks of the system” without access to legal aid, refuge or financial support.
